Although we do not physically host websites ourselves, we provide the service by acting as an intermediary between the hosting company and your company. We set up the server with the tools provided by the vendor to ensure that the website works without any problems.

Backup

We take both daily and weekly backups of your website as we can restore if something goes wrong.

Conditions

Automatically upgrading the server with security updates can in rare cases mean that a faulty module upgrade causes problems or website downtime. We still recommend this approach because a secure site (even with bugs) is better than a functional site that is vulnerable to hackers. The client is responsible for all data created, stored, displayed or transmitted while using the server. All manual work related to hosting and hosting support takes place during normal working hours.

Not included

Ongoing upgrades/updating of the site(s) and user support are not included in this service.

Hosting conditions

We provide hosting through a third party such as Hetzner, Digital Ocean, Cloudways, and they are legally responsible for the physical hosting of the website. We refer to their respective websites for information on their legal terms.

There may be times when the server is unavailable. We will inform you when a provider contacts us about planned downtime. We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen downtime. We can't be held either responsible for third-party errors, force majeure and/or cases of hacker attacks. If a hacker attack or a failed server operation however results in a dysfunctional website, we would like to help you as much as we can. Restoring from backup is included in this agreement. If this is not possible, we will give you an estimate for possible solutions with the remains of the website - or give an estimate for an alternative solution.
